The main body and dialect audio files of all 15 volumes of the Dialect Recordings Series are available on this page.

The main body has been converted into PDF files that contain the unmodified images of the volumes and text files (text data) that contain the transcripts, while the audio data is provided in the form of digitized audio files (wav format).

Main Body PDF: A PDF file that contains the images of the entire volume, linked to the Academic Repository of the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics.
Text File: Text data of the transcripts (except for Okinawa), compressed in a zip file.
Audio File: Audio data recorded on a cassette tape, converted into an audio file (wav format, 16 bit, 16 KHz), compressed in a zip file.

The text data from the main body of the Dialect Recordings Series has been created through the following research themes:
