The National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics Reference 5 "A Dictionary of the Ryukyuan Language" has been widely used as an information base for studies of the Ryukyuan language ever since its publication in 1963. The data being distributed here is a computerized version of the main body of data of the 9th edition of "A Dictionary of the Ryukyuan Language," revised in 2001.
